THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF KINCtRDINE
BY-LAW NO. 4014
BEING a By-law to authorize the construction,of a new low
lift pump house and intake well to the wateridistribution
system ef the Town of Kincardine.
WHEREAS pursuant to paragraph 53 (1) of Sect~on 354 of the
Municipal Act, By-laws may be passed by the Çouncils of local
municipalities for authorizing the work here~nafter set forth:

In this By-law "work" shall mean the pompletion of a
new low lift pump house, intake well fnd associated
equipment of the Public Utility unde:rtaking of the Town
of Kincardine being centrolled and maþaged by the
Public Utility Commission,.It the 'saili Town by the
Construction of Capital Improvements bo the water

distribution system at an estimated c~st of $250,000.00.

The undertaking of the said work, th~ extension of the
powers of the Corporation of the said T.wn to proceed
therewith, and the provisions of mon~ s therefori~
by the issue of debentures is hereby pproved and
authorized, in the amount not exceed1fg $250,000.00
repayable Òc'Yer .,2fLþãJ;'s.
The Treasurer of the said corporatio~" may (subject to
the approval of Council) agree with 'y bank or person
for temporary advances of money to mill t the costs of
the work pending the completion therlll~f.
That B. M. Ross and Associates Limit~ be appointed as
Engineer and that he do forthwith ma~ such plans,
profiles and specifications and furn!fh such information
as may be necessary for the making o~ a contract for
the execution of the work.

6.
In each year in which an installment o~ the said
debentures becomes due, the amount to Qe raised shall
be paid from the income of the said Puijlic Utilities
Commission in each year until the debt ¡has been

7. This By-law shall not come into force I:þd effect until
the approval of the Ontario Municipal aoard has been
obtained pursuant to Section 64 of theiontario Municipal
Board Act, and shall come into force ~d effect upon
such approval being given.
