A BY-LAW to require adequate and suitable heat £ r rented
dwelling accommodation.

AUTHORITY - Section 64, Chapter 284 of the MuniQ
THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
KINCARDINE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

1. Every building or part of a building whi(j is rented
or leased as dwelling or living accommodation an which,as
between the tenant or lessee ànd the landlord, ~ normally heated
by or at the expense of the landlord shall, bet\'( en the 15th
day of September in each year and the 30th day ~ May of the
following year, be provided with adequate and s~ table heat by
or at the expense of the landlord; and for the ~ ose of this
By-law "adequate and suitable heat" means that 11 e minimum

5. Any penalty impo~ed by or under the auth ity of this
By-law shall be recoverable under the Summary C victions Act.
6. This by-law shall have effect from the 2 day of
October, 1975.
